Four steps from install to live

Two of these steps happen in your Shopify admin and two happen in the theme editor. None of them need a developer, and a small catalogue can finish all four in an afternoon.

Install the app on your store
Installation takes one approval screen on your own store. We send the install link during onboarding, you approve the permissions Shopify shows you, and the app appears in your admin — no theme fork, no repository, no developer.
The app installs through StyleProfile onboarding today. Our Shopify App Store listing is in review, and this page changes the moment it is public.

Connect your catalogue
Products sync automatically once the app is installed. Titles, variants, categories, product images and any size charts you keep on the product come across, and the sync runs again on a schedule and whenever you edit a product.
A few hundred products finish in minutes. Tens of thousands take longer, and you can watch the sync progress rather than guess at it.

Pick placement and match your theme
Add the try-on block to your product template from the Shopify theme editor and drag it where you want it — under the buy button, beside the gallery, or inside a tab. You are working in the editor you already use.
The widget inherits your theme’s fonts and colours by default, so it reads as part of your store rather than a bolted-on panel. Every value can be overridden if your brand needs something specific.

Go live
Publish the theme and try-on is live on the product pages you enabled. Most stores start with one collection, watch how shoppers use it for a week, then widen it.
Turning it off is the same switch in reverse. Nothing about your product pages depends on the widget being there.

What you need

Four things, and you probably have all of them. Nothing here asks for new photography.

Shopify plan: Shopify or Shopify Plus. Try-on is included on every StyleProfile plan.
Theme: Online Store 2.0 themes take the block straight from the theme editor. On an older theme the widget goes in as a snippet, which we do with you.
Product images: Standard catalogue images — a clear, front-facing shot on an uncluttered background. Nothing needs re-shooting for this.
Size charts: Optional, and worth it. Garment measurements on the product are what turn try-on into a size recommendation.

FAQ

Shopify questions

Yes. On an Online Store 2.0 theme you place the try-on block from the theme editor and drag it where you want it. On an older theme the widget goes in as a snippet instead, and we do that part with you rather than handing you a code block. Either way it picks up your theme fonts and colours by default, and any of that can be overridden.

Not publicly yet. The app installs through StyleProfile onboarding today — we send an install link, you approve it on your own store — and our App Store listing is in review. Nothing about the install or the permissions changes when the listing goes public; it just becomes a search away instead of a link away.

The embed loads asynchronously and does not block page render, so it sits outside the critical path that decides your Largest Contentful Paint. Renders are produced and cached on our side rather than computed in the shopper’s browser, and the widget only does real work once a shopper opens it.
