VTON terms of service

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These terms apply to merchants who install the VTON app from the Shopify App Store. Shopify's own terms also apply to the store and to app charges.

1. The service

VTON lets a store offer virtual try-on. The merchant syncs products, prepares garments, and turns Try On on in the theme. Shoppers use Try On on the storefront. Results depend on the photos and product images provided. They are a preview, not a guarantee of fit.

2. Plans and charges

Shopify bills the store. VTON does not collect card numbers. The plans are:

  • Starter: 49 USD every 30 days, 250 try-ons.
  • Growth: 149 USD every 30 days, 1,000 try-ons.
  • Scale: 399 USD every 30 days, 3,000 try-ons.

The merchant chooses, upgrades, and downgrades a plan on the Plan page inside the app. Shopify shows the charge for approval. Try-on stops when the included amount for the period is used. VTON does not add an overage charge. A new period starts the allowance again.

3. Refunds

App charges are processed by Shopify. A refund of an app charge is requested through Shopify, and Shopify decides that request under Shopify's billing terms. Uninstalling the app does not by itself refund a charge Shopify has already approved.

4. Chargebacks

A dispute or chargeback on an app charge is handled through Shopify, the merchant of record for the charge. The merchant should use the payment method and billing history in the Shopify admin.

5. Merchant responsibilities

The merchant is responsible for the products they connect, for the storefront experience, and for notices their own customers need. The merchant will not use VTON to copy products they do not have the right to sell.

6. Acceptable use

The merchant will not use the app to break the law, to infringe someone's rights, or to upload images of a person without a proper basis. Shopper photos and try-on results are handled as described in the VTON privacy policy.

7. Availability

VTON may change, suspend, or stop the service, including for maintenance or where a plan's included try-ons are used. Shopify may also suspend an app charge or an install under Shopify's terms.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, VTON is not liable for lost profits, lost orders, or indirect damages arising from the use of try-on previews. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms go to the support email published on the VTON listing in the Shopify App Store.
