Mix-and-match try-on renders several garments together on one body and lets the shopper swap any piece while the rest stay in place. Because the whole look is composed in a single render, proportions, layering and lighting stay consistent as pieces change. It is the online equivalent of trying two things on at once.
The hard part is not the swap, it is the composition. Four garments on one body means resolving layer order, occlusion where one piece covers another, a single light direction across all of them, and one consistent scale. A system that renders each piece separately has to reconcile all of that afterwards, and it usually shows.
